Medical Staff Manager- El Camino Hospital - Los Gatos, CA

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will ensure overall coordination of services, effective communication between the Medical Staff, Administration and other various departments, and compliance with required Joint Commission, Title 22 and CMA/IMQ requirements. This position is accountable to the Associate VP Administration Services at the Los Gatos campus for services and for issues impacting operations and to enterprise Medical Staff Services for compliance with department standards and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

•Bachelor’s degree is desirable with major emphasis in management and/or public relations 
•Five years of experience in an administrative/management position utilizing these capabilities is an acceptable alternative
•Related supervisory experience is required
•CPMSM, CPHQ and CPCS certifications desirable 
•Working knowledge of medical terminology required
•Proficiency in general office duties such as word processing, database management, spreadsheets, CQI tools, calendar preparation, filing, use of broadcast facsimile, copying and other office machines
