The Director of Medical Staff Services provides leadership, management and operational oversight of medical staff organization support services. The Director works collaboratively with the Chief of Staff, the Medical Executive Committee, and additional medical staff leaders to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the programs and activities of the medical staff organization to ensure that the strategies of the medical staff organization are supported and attained, goals and plans are realized and there is adherence to the requirement of regulatory and accreditation bodies that are relevant to the organized medical staff.
Position requires for three to five years experience in medical staff organization management or strong healthcare-related background which includes involvement with physicians. With an undergraduate degree with emphasis in Healthcare Management is preferred. Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) - or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or equivalent training is preferred.
