Director, Medical Staff

POSITION PURPOSE
Coordinates, supervises and directs all medical staff functions in the department.  Provides liaison to the Medical Staff and Administration regarding all aspects of credentialing, medical staff meetings and bylaws and rules and regulations.  Also provides supervision for the Institutional Review Board Coordinator and Health Science Library. 

EDUCATION/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

• Los Angeles City Fire/Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma with at least 2 years college completed. 

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Three to five years’ experience as a Medical Staff Director.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

• Five years’ experience as a Medical Staff Coordinator.
• Three years preferred supervising others.
