Message from the President:

The Mid-Valley Chapter of the California Association Medical Staff Services (CAMSS) is located in beautiful Northern California and serves the counties of Sacramento, El Dorado, Amador, Calaveras, and Yolo. Our membership consists of medical staff professionals from large healthcare systems, small rural hospitals, credentialing specialists from physician groups and managed care plans, and a small psychiatric hospital. As you can see, sometimes this is a challenge when it comes to providing education programs that are appropriate for all. Our programs have consisted of managing disruptive physicians, physician profiling (report cards), compliance issues, and updates on Joint Commission standards and CMS regulations. We welcome all interested persons to our meetings.
